“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me” (Gal 2:20 KJV).
Our ultimate journey to the Cross
Is the way to Jesus Christ
The One who suffered for our sins
However, He paid the price
This special course that we will take
Gives power to strengthen our day
Providing the Holy Word of God
To read along the way
Experiencing a number of distractions
On our tour each day
On the journey to the Cross
Where fiery darts display
As we war off the devils plots
To divert our voyage flights
We have to fast and pray every day
As he tries to blind our sights
During this journey to the Cross
There are things we have to endure
Like stumbling blocks and ridicule
Doubting minds are all unsure
We will be mocked by several others
And spat at because we are engrossed
As they perceive the Christ that lives in us
Along this journey to the Cross
If we take this worthy road
With our savior Jesus Christ
He will help us all along the way
Down the path of eternal life
While on this journey to the Cross
Live free from immoral sin
So God will open His heavenly gates
So we all may enter in
